Click here to skip all this noise: take me to the Gun, Hunting & Conservation Encyclopedia of links!

  Welcome to my home page...

Glad you could drop by.

If you were brought here by a search engine when you were really looking for something more interesting than me, it was probably trying to point you to my links - which I recently split off into it's own page at gunbooks.org/links.html.

(more detail about my creds)

What I like to do...

Hunt.

I've hunted whitetail, mule deer, pronghorn, turkey (Eastern & Merriams), elk, moose, black bear, dove, ducks, geese, pheasants, squirrel, rabbits, sage grouse, woodcock, and bobwhite quail. Still haven't taken an elk or bear yet though.

I am very interested in everything that happens to our wild meat from the moment it hits the ground to the time it hits the dinner plate - such as field care, butchering, storage and cooking.

I usually have a golden retriever or two that I train for both upland and waterfowl - as well as to keep my feet warm on cold nights. See a memorial to one of my favorites, Josie, at her page if you would like to see one fine dog.

If you would like to see photos of my various exploits afield, visit my Grip & Grin Gallery.
